Haunted Hayride Havoc
This is a 2D game where you play as a farmer attempting to escape a cornfield full of monsters without getting his truck destroyed.

The core mechanic involves avoiding a collision with the various obstacles within the game in order to gain points and avoid gaining too much damage.

This game was made for my Video Game Programming 1 class at Maryville University.

Bull Ring
This is a 3D game that involves the player swinging around a bull ring in order to become a famous - and rather unconventional - matador.
​
The core mechanic includes swinging around the ring and as closely to the bull(s) without being hit in order to gain points. The player has only so much time/grip strength before the level ends.

MAPIFICATION

UX/UI Type: Companion App UI
Mapification is an idea for a Companion App that connects to a TTRPG table. The app allows users to download TTRPG maps and project them onto the table for use in games.

This project was a fun one from beginning to end. The process was full of learning experiences and changes to the over all plan.
The most interesting part of the process was the use of multiple mini wireframes for deciding between simple, moderate, and elaborate designs. In the end, this exercise was the most helpful for deciding what would and would not be useful for a first pass at the project.

This project was created for my Advanced UX/UI class at Maryville University.
